Kindergarten Registration at Colonel J. Fred Scott School 2025-2026 School Year
If your child was born in 2020, you can register them for kindergarten class.
We anticipate having 2 morning and 1 afternoon kindergarten classes next year. When you register, you have the choice to pick morning or afternoon. We will try our best to accommodate your request.
If there are too many children in either the morning or afternoon class, we will contact families about moving to the other class. If we need to make this decision, it will be done by the end of May.
There are 2 ways to register your child for kindergarten.

If your child is Canadian born and you need help filling out the online registration form, please come to the school Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:00am or 1:30-2:30pm. On Friday’s between 9:00-11:30am. You will need to bring proof of address and your child’s birth certificate.
If your child was not born in Canada, you need to go to the Welcome Centre to register. Please call 403-817-7789 or e-mail them at welcome@cbe.ab.ca for an appointment.
