Hello CJFS families,
March Interviews are online this time due to the CBE CUPE Strike. The interview times are:
- Thursday, March 20, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm (last available appointment is 7:15 pm)
- Friday, March 21, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm (last available appointment is 11:45 am)
Interviews will be held on-line through an app called Microsoft Teams. Interviews will not be held in person.
March Interviews are booked using this link: https://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/. You need to have a MyCBE Parent/Guardian Account in order to book an interview. See below if you need to make a CBE Parent/Guardian Account.
Parents/Guardians can book interviews starting Monday, March 17 at 9:00 am.
Once you have booked your appointment on-line you will receive an email confirmation with a link to join your interview on Microsoft Teams.
Please click on the link at least a day before your interview to ensure the app is downloaded properly on your device and everything works before your interview meeting. Do not stay connected in the meeting when you are practicing; it is just to make sure you can get online. It is important you are on WiFi to get the best connection.

To book interviews on-line, you need to have a MyCBE Parent/Guardian Account.
If you have not already created your account, please do so by following the steps below:
- Go to the Colonel J. Fred Scott School website https://coloneljfredscott.cbe.ab.ca/
and look for the MyCBE / PowerSchool icon at the bottom of our home page.
- Click on the “Create Parent Account” button and a list of information needed to create the account will be provided.
- If you need your child’s CBE ID# or if you need to reset your password, please contact the school office.
It is important to have a MyCBE parent account set up as you can do various tasks on this site such as pay fees, register for noon supervision, review report cards and book Teacher Interviews. This account will follow your child throughout their years while in CBE schools.
